  1. Why should I list my property on this site?

    Ans – You might be able to have it rented out by film producers or photographers and receive a nice check!

  2. Does it cost me anything to list my property on this site?

    Ans – Nope. It’s Free!

  3. How will I know if someone is interested in filming on my property?

    Ans – If a film producer is interested in your property, we will provide them your contact info.

  4. How much will I get paid for renting out my property?

    Ans – That would depend on different factors. You would be negotiating the rate with the producer.

  5. Will my homeowner’s insurance provide liability coverage for the shoot?

    Ans – Always check your policy and consult your insurance agent for confirmation. You should also ask the producer to provide their own coverage and show proof their coverage would include you and your property.

  6. What if I have multiple properties?

    Ans – You would only sign up once as a member and would list each property separately.

  7. What if I don’t own my property, I am renting it. Can I still list it on Rent2Film and rent it out?

    Ans – You should check your lease agreement and get written permission from the property owner or landlord.

  8. Will I need to pay taxes on the income received from renting out my property for a shoot?

    Ans – According to the IRS, if you rent your property for less than 14 days, you do not have to report that income. However if the filming is over 14 days, you will need to file a report for the income. We advise you to consult with your tax advisor to verify.

  9. Do I have to own a big house or an expensive car to list?

    Ans. No. There is a strong demand for all types and ranges of properties for filming and photo shoots.

  10. Is there a specific region you are accepting listings in?

    Ans. No. We accept properties from all over the world.
